Hello! My name is Dawid Smoleń, I am an engineer in Kraków, Poland.

I’ve been responsible for creating a few ML-based products, that are being used in more than 40 countries. My systems are making decisions thousands of times a day. However, I still find creating the ML system very challenging problem, which is maybe one of the reasons why I love it.

My focus is to create reliable systems, that work with real-world data. I specialize in the modeling of unstructured signals.

I’d like this site to be a place to discuss the knowledge and ideas. I want to have a systematized knowledge of what makes the model reliable and useful in the production. I hope that many people can learn from it a lot of good, just like me.
